AUTUMN is a particularly busy period for Interflow Logistics, as the official freight forwarder for the European Association for Osseointegration’s (EAO) Paris 2016 Congress. The annual EAO Congress—marking its 25th year—is one of the world’s premier dental implant trade exhibition and networking events.
EAO is a non-profit organisation founded in 1991. It is an international, interdisciplinary and independent science-based forum for all professionals interested in the art and science of osseointegration and implant dentistry.
As the bridge between the science of osseointegration and clinical practice, the EAO’s goal is improving standards in patient care. This years Congress—taking place in Paris from September 29th-October 1st—is a dazzling showcase for the practical outcomes of this research-practice interface.
As the EAO President, Björn Klinge, says, the work of the EAO creates “an enormous flow of new information, coming all the time”, creating “a million reasons to join the next congress in Paris”.
Preparing for the milestone 25th Congress, the most important fundamental reason for attending the event remains, to quote Mr Klinge, that “in a digestible format, you get what’s new in the field”.

President Klinge’s low-key, emphatic assertion that “the Paris congress will be yet another success” is founded on a quarter-century of successive Congresses that has taken the event to every corner of Europe, from Ireland to the balmy coastal climes of Monaco on the French Riviera; from Sweden and Switzerland in the north, to Italy in the South, and almost all points in between.
But the Congress does not organise itself. This event will see more than 2,200 delegates from all around the world converge on Paris.
Interflow Logistics, with its global network of partners and freight agents, will play a crucial role in assisting exhibitors with shipping their materials to and from Paris’s leading venue for international congresses, Le Palais des Congrès.
Exhibitors or representatives are normally required to supervise their shipping—including the necessary customs clearance process—handling and receiving of their materials, and at their own expense, and assume responsibility for delivery, storage, dismantling and take-away of the materials.
As the official freight forwarder for Paris 2016, Interflow Logistics takes the stress out of these logistics by handling the delivery to your stand, fork lifting, advance cargo receiving, international customs, as well as assisting with storage of empties and all other freight forwarding requests during the exhibition.
The sheer amount of logistical considerations underpinning an exhibition such as this EAO showcase is demonstrated by the fact that the Association has set the place and time for the 2017 Congress (Madrid, October 5th-7th, 2017), and is urging its members to save the dates for its subsequent four Congresses (October 11th-13th, 2018; September 26th-28th, 2019; and October 22nd-24th, 2020).
Take the first step in seeing how Interflow Logistics can take the stress out of your exhibition logistics today. For further information on the EAO Congress, visit the dedicated Congress website.
